Civil Defense tackles grass fire in Irbid

The Civil Defense teams reported Tuesday that it dealt with a dry grass fire on Petra Street in Irbid, according to "Roya" correspondent.

The correspondent added that the fire broke out over an area of 30 dunums of wheat crop on Petra Street.

He noted that firefighting teams from East Irbid Civil Defense rushed to the scene to control the flames and prevent them from spreading to nearby areas.
