Will Tawjihi exam proceed as planned on Hijri New Year? Ministry answers

Following the Prime Minister’s decision to suspend operations of ministries, official departments, public institutions and bodies, public universities, municipalities, joint services councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and government-owned companies on Sunday, July 7, 2024, for the Hijri New Year, the Ministry of Education provided an update regarding the Tawjihi exam scheduled for the same day.

The Ministry confirmed that high school exams on Sunday, July 7, will proceed as planned.

This suspension does not apply to ministries, official departments, and institutions whose nature of work requires otherwise.

In honor of the Hijri New Year, the Prime Minister emphasized that all ministries, official departments, public institutions, and bodies should recognize the occasion appropriately and highlight it in a fitting manner.
