The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said today that, following royal directives, a Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) aircraft will be dispatched to transport Jordanian citizen -Yara Dababneh- out of Gaza and back to Jordan after being injured in the aftermath of an “Israeli” airstrike.

Dababneh is part of the UN Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) in Gaza and was injured yesterday in the strike targeting their vehicle in Rafah, south of the Strip.

The Ministry’s Spokesperson, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Al-Qudah, stated that the Ministry had been coordinating with the UNDSS regarding her situation and are currently facilitating her transfer to Jerusalem ahead of her arrival to Jordan for treatment at Al-Hussein Medical City.
