The Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee issued a decision on Tuesday to set the local prices for oil derivatives for the period from May 1st to 31st.

The committee reviewed the global oil and oil derivatives prices for April and compared them with those of March, noting an increase in global rates during April.

After applying the pricing formula based on global prices to all oil derivatives, the committee noted an increase in the price of diesel by 5 fils per liter, 90-octane gasoline by 20 fils per liter, and 95-octane gasoline by 25 fils per liter.

Consequently, the committee decided to raise the price of diesel to 735 fils per liter from 730 fils, the price of 90-octane gasoline to 960 fils per liter from 940 fils, and the price of 95-octane gasoline to 1200 fils per liter from 1175 fils.

Additionally, the committee decided to keep the price of kerosene unchanged for May at 620 fils per liter and to maintain the price of a 12.5 kg domestic gas cylinder at 7 dinars per cylinder.
