Senior Lebanon-based Hamas official Osama Hamdan labeled the demands of the Israeli Occupation in the ongoing mediated truce negotiations as “unacceptable.”

In statements made on Tuesday, Hamdan added that the latest “Israeli” response does not meet the “minimum requirements,” indicating that the movement has informed the mediators that it is rejected.

He pointed out that the “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not want to end the war and seeks to procrastinate and obstruct the negotiations.

Hamdan re-iterated Hamas’ stance that there will be no “Israeli” presence in an administrative capacity in the Gaza Strip after the war, and that the decision will be entirely “Palestinian”.
