The head of National Public Diplomacy Directorate in “Israeli” Prime Ministry office, Moshik Aviv, has informed Benjamin Netanyahu of his decision to leave his post – As reported by Hebrew Channel 12.

Aviv was appointed only eight months ago.

He and Netanyahu agreed that would stay in his job until a successor is appointed.

The official reason for his resignation is personal and health-related, according to Hebrew media. However, sources in Netanyahu’s office say there are other reasons for his departure.

Aviv, whose job includes overseeing “Israel’s” public diplomacy efforts, is a “very statesmanlike person,” according to the sources, adding that the political facet of working in the Prime Minister’s office was hard for him.; leading to his resignation.

Several “Israeli” officials quit their posts notably after the events of October 7, 2023 – Public Diplomacy Minister Galit Distel Atbaryan quit her job five days after Operation Aqsa Typhoon.

Netanyahu’s chief of staff Tzachi Braverman is also set to depart Netanyahu’s office in search of other opportunities.
