“Israeli” army says three soldiers wounded in Hamas ambush

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) said today that three of its soldiers were “moderately wounded” after Hamas booby-trapped a tunnel network hatch in Rafah, southern Gaza earlier today.

The three wounded soldiers were subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment – the statement added.

Earlier today, Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, said it targeted an “Israeli” engineering unit; consisting of three vehicles: an excavator; and several foot soldiers leaving behind several casualties east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.

On its official Telegram channel, Al-Qassam added that it targeted an “Israeli” D9 bulldozer with a tandem-charge southeast of the Sabra neighborhood in Gaza city.

Two “Israeli” vehicles advancing south of Zaytoun neighborhood were also targeted with the locally designed and developed anti-armor missile -Al-Yassin 105- and Explosively Formed Penetrator (EFP) dubbed “Shawaz” by Hamas.
