The latest round of negotiations for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip has ended today in Cairo after two days of talks, and both delegations from Hamas and “Israel” are currently on their way back to Doha and the Occupied territories, respectively.

A senior “Israeli” official cited by Axios said that the delegation’s members have submitted the Israeli Occupation’s reservations regarding the ceasefire proposal presented by Qatari and Egyptian mediators which was accepted by Hamas last Monday.

“Israel will continue its military operations in Rafah and Gaza as planned," added the official.

Efforts by Egyptian, Qatari and American mediators "are ongoing to bring the two sides' points of view closer," said Egypt's state-linked Al-Qahera News, citing a high-level Egyptian source.
