The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates' Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs has announced ongoing efforts to repatriate 61 Jordanian citizens from the Gaza Strip to Jordan.

These individuals were granted permission to leave through the Rafah crossing to Egypt.

Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Al-Qudah, the ministry's official spokesperson, stated that a team from the Jordanian embassy in Cairo has been overseeing the evacuation operations on the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing.

They are assisting Jordanian citizens with medical care, transportation to the port of Nuweiba and Cairo, and facilitating their return to Jordan.

The embassy team will continue to supervise evacuation operations and provide support to Jordanian citizens in Gaza.

Currently, 1,247 Jordanian citizens in Gaza have been registered, with 764 already evacuated.

Ambassador Al-Qudah urged Jordanian citizens in Gaza to reach out to the Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs for assistance via phone or email.
