Fresh produce prices in central market Wednesday

Wednesday, the Fruits and Vegetables Central Wholesale Market announced the latest prices of fresh produce.

According to the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), the market received a total of 1,513 tons of fresh produce including 1,125 tons of vegetables, 234 tons of fruits 153 tons of leafy greens.

According to the market's latest price list (per kilogram):

Tomatoes: 6 - 15 piasters
Eggplants: 40 - 70 piasters
Potatoes: 40 - 60 piasters
Garlic: 250 - 500 piasters
Carrots: 30 - 40 piasters
Cucumbers: 35 - 60 piasters
Cauliflower: 10 - 20 piasters
Lemons: 25 - 35 piasters
Bananas: 50 - 75 piasters
