Fresh produce prices in central market Monday

Monday, the Fruits and Vegetables Central Wholesale Market announced the latest prices of fresh produce.

According to the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), the market received a total of 2,568 tons of fresh produce including 196 tons of vegetables, 398 tons of fruits 206 tons of leafy greens.

According to the market's latest price list (per kilogram):

• Tomatoes: 6 - 15 piasters
• Eggplants: 40 - 70 piasters
• Potatoes: 30 - 45 piasters
• Garlic: 250 - 500 piasters
• Carrots: 30 - 40 piasters
• Cucumbers: 30 - 50 piasters
• Cauliflower: 10 - 20 piasters
• Lemons: 30 - 40 piasters
• Bananas: 50 - 75 piasters
