Safadi, Blinken discuss Gaza ceasefire efforts by phone

Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi discussed on Sunday, during a phone call received from US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, efforts to reach a ceasefire and ensure sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid delivery to the Gaza Strip

The ministers also deliberated on the situation in Jerusalem, emphasizing the importance of respecting its historical status quo.

Safadi stressed the immediate need to halt the aggression and warned against the escalating humanitarian catastrophe it entails - The two parties also discussed several bilateral issues.
