'Israeli' army demands immediate evacuation of Gaza's Rimal, Shifa Hospital
The Israeli Occupation military has urged civilians residing in Al-Rimal neighborhood and the vicinity of Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza to evacuate immediately, amid a siege enforced since early Monday morning.
Avichay Adraee, spokesperson for the occupation army, issued a call on the "X" platform, instructing residents to evacuate towards the west and cross Al-Rashid Street to the south, purportedly to reach the humanitarian zone in Al-Mawasi.
The Israeli Occupation military, as reported by Hebrew Channel 12, claimed that it had detained 80 fighters from the resistance within Gaza City's Shifa Medical Complex and had gained full control over the facility following a targeted operation.
This operation, conducted jointly by military and Shin Bet forces, continues at the medical complex.
Earlier, Gaza's Ministry of Health reported a fire outbreak at the entrance of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, resulting in cases of suffocation among displaced individuals, including women and children.
Communication lines were also disrupted. The ministry highlighted the dire situation of those trapped inside the specialized surgery and emergency reception areas, with casualties reported due to the intensity of the fire and targeting of individuals near windows.
