“Barebones Iftar” held in solidarity with Gaza

Jordanians in the governorate of Irbid organized a no-frills iftar in solidarity with Palestinian in the Gaza Strip, who are currently enduring a systematic starvation and siege policy imposed by the Israeli Occupation.

The event was attended by a large crowd of citizens, in addition to members of parliament.

Participants reiterated their solidarity with the Palestinian people, stating that the modest iftar mirrors the empty stomachs in Gaza. They emphasized that this frugal iftar is a sincere expression from the people of Jordan to stand behind their brethren in Gaza.

The ftar consisted only of dates and water.
