PHOTOS - Jordanian Armed Forces carries out nine joint aid airdrops over Gaza
The Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army executed 9 airdrops today, Friday in cooperation with partner countries on several locations in northern Gaza, as part of its humanitarian duty the ongoing efforts aimed at supporting the resilience of Palestinians and alleviating the repercussions of the “Israeli” war on the people of Gaza - an official statement by JAF said.
Four C130 aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF), along with aircraft from the Arab Republic of Egypt, the United States of America, the Republic of France, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and the Kingdom of Belgium participated in the operation under royal directives.
This step comes within the continuous Jordanian efforts to send more medical, relief, and food aid to the people in Gaza with the aim of mitigating the effects of the war and compensating for the severe shortages in food and medicine due to the ongoing “Israeli” aggression on the region.
The Armed Forces affirm their commitment to continue sending aid through an airlift to deliver humanitarian and medical aid, whether through aid planes from Marka Airport to El Arish International Airport or through aerial drops on Gaza, or land convoys.
Since the start of the “Israeli” aggression on the sector, the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army have executed 33 Jordanian aerial drops and 28 aerial drops carried out in cooperation with partner countries.
