King, Queen congratulate Jordanian women on International Women's Day

His Majesty King Abdullah II and Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah expressed their congratulations to Jordanian women on the occasion of International Women's Day during their meeting with Jordanian women from various regions of the Kingdom today, Wednesday.

His Majesty the King, during part of the meeting held at the Al Husseiniya Palace and attended by several princesses, expressed his pride in Jordanian women and their efforts towards the development of Jordan.

Earlier Today, His Majesty King Abdullah II bestowed the Order of the Bejewelled Grand Cordon of Al Nahda (Order of the Renaissance) on Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, in appreciation of her distinguished service, her leading role in the advancement of Jordanian society, and her keenness to support Jordanians in all fields.
