“There is a reasonable basis to conclude that Netanyahu knew that the site of Rashbi’s grave was improperly dealt with for years, and that it was liable to be a danger to the masses that visit the site, especially on Lag B’Omer,” the commission said, in the decision cited by the “The Times of Israel”.
The 2021 Meron crowd crush was an incident that occurred on Mount Meron in the occupied territories on April 30, 2021. During the annual pilgrimage to the tomb of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai on the Jewish holiday of Lag BaOmer - and is the deadliest civil disaster in the “history” of “Israel”.
100,000 people were in attendance, 45 were killed and 150 were injured - after the crowds tripped and slipped near the top of a wet and sloping metal staircase resulting in their deaths due to being trampled over, crushed, and asphyxiation.
