One injured in Askalan in missile attack from Gaza

A rocket launched from Gaza caused an injury in Askalan and ignited a fire, according to reports. Hebrew media also stated that a vehicle was set ablaze due to rockets fired from Gaza.

Alarm systems were triggered in the city after a 10-day period of calm.

The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, claimed responsibility for launching missiles at Askalan and nearby settlements in retaliation for the Israeli Occupation's offenses against Palestinians.
