The Egyptian Air Force is preparing to carry out an aid airdrop operation in Gaza, according to reports from Egyptian media.

This operation will involve dropping food and medical supplies into the Gaza Strip, with the participation of Jordan and the United Arab Emirates.

This initiative coincides with Jordan's ongoing execution of strategic operations in the strip through the Royal Jordanian Air Force, a branch of the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army.

Jordan has taken the lead in conducting aid airdrop operations within Gaza, delivering essential supplies both to civilians and to Jordanian field hospitals operating in the strip.

The Jordanian Armed Forces affirmed their commitment to these efforts, stating that they continue under the directives of His Majesty the King. Their aim is to conduct aerial landing operations to provide crucial medical and basic supplies, supporting the health sector in Gaza.

These drops are focused on directly reaching the population along the Gaza coastline, from north to south.

The increase in these airdrop operations reflects the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza due to ongoing hostilities by the Israeli Occupation.
