The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) aircraft carried out a heavy bombing campaign with banned white phosphorus bombs in the border areas near the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

Video footage circulated showed white phosphorus bombs falling on residential areas where displaced people fled to Rafah due to the Israeli Occupation's ongoing aggression.

The bombs landed just meters away from the Palestinian-Egyptian border and the separation wall between the two countries, with Egyptian military watchtowers visible in the background.

As of now, official institutions in the Gaza Strip have not provided any clarification regarding the nature of the bombing or whether there were civilian casualties.

The Israeli Occupation's relentless aggression on Gaza continues unabated for the 142nd consecutive day, marked by massacres against Palestinians and the extensive destruction of homes.

Since October 7, the ongoing aggression has led to the martyrdom of 29,514 Palestinians and the injury of 69,616 others, according to reports from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza. Additionally, thousands are feared to be trapped under the rubble.
