Abdullah and Maryam, a newlywed Palestinian couple who got married three days ago were killed in an “Israeli” airstrike that targeted their sojourn in the border city of Rafah.

The “Israeli” air force carried out a fierce bombardment on the family’s home in the area of "Khirbet Al-Adas" in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of at least 10 Palestinians, including the newlyweds.

The plight of the Israeli Occupation continues on Palestinians and the people of Gaza. The border city of Rafah, located in the northernmost area of the Gaza Strip, is allegedly a safe zone for the Strip’s residents to flee the ongoing “Israeli” aggression against the enclave.

Yet, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continue to push towards Rafah, targeting it heavily and killing hundreds, amidst concerns that the Palestinians will have to evacuate from the Gaza Strip completely and into Egypt.
