AI revolutionizes work across sectors raising unemployment concerns
Artificial intelligence has started to revolutionize various aspects of work, displacing human labor in the television production sector. This trend isn't limited to television alone; financial markets are also embracing artificial intelligence technologies to streamline data-intensive tasks with precision and efficiency.
According to a recent study conducted by the Information and Communications Technology Association in Jordan (int@j), 63 percent of companies in the sector have initiated the integration of artificial intelligence systems to enhance their products and services as highlighted by int@j’s CEO Nidal Bitar.
However, as artificial intelligence tools become more prevalent within companies, a major concern arises: the rising unemployment rate among Jordanian youth. Official reports indicate that this figure currently stands at 47 percent, signaling a pressing issue that needs to be addressed.
