On Friday, King Abdullah II arrived at the Elysee Palace in Paris and was warmly greeted by French President Emmanuel Macron.

The King returned home the previous Thursday after a diplomatic tour that included visits to the United States of America, Canada, France, and Germany.

The purpose of the royal tour is to garner international support for a ceasefire in Gaza, ensure the protection of civilians, secure sustained and adequate humanitarian aid for the region, and underscore the necessity of a political resolution to the Palestinian-Israeli Occupation conflict.

During his visit to Washington, King Abdullah II held meetings with US President Joe Biden, key members of the administration, as well as several senators and representatives in Congress. He also met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Ottawa.

In Paris, the King is scheduled to hold discussions with President Emmanuel Macron, while in Germany, he will participate in the sixtieth session of the Munich Security Conference, where he will engage with various high-ranking Western and European officials.

Additionally, Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Deputy to King Abdullah II in the presence of ministry staff.
