'Israeli' soldier killed in ongoing Gaza battles

The Israeli Occupation army announced on Thursday the killing of a soldier and the injury of three others with serious wounds in the ongoing battles in the southern Gaza Strip.

Sergeant Rotem Sahar Hadar, a 20-year-old fighter from Kfar Aviv, was killed during combat in the southern Gaza Strip. Additionally, two other fighters and a paratrooper officer sustained serious wounds in the same incident. All injured soldiers were promptly evacuated for medical treatment, and their families were notified of the situation, according to a statement by the Israeli Occupation army. 

This incident adds to the toll of casualties within the Israeli Occupation army since the commencement of the Palestinian resistance's Operation Aqsa Typhoon on October 7 of the previous year. The death toll has now reached 571, including 234 fatalities since the Israeli Occupation initiated the ground operation in the strip on October 28 of the same year.

Despite the escalating casualty count, the Israeli Occupation persists in its aggressive actions on the 132nd day in Gaza, conducting airstrikes across various regions of the Gaza Strip, with a notable focus on targeting hospitals and medical facilities.
