Jordan sends two medical aid planes to Gaza amid worsening crisis
The Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization dispatched Thursday two new medical aid planes to assist the people of Gaza, facilitated via the Rafah crossing.
In collaboration with the Jordanian Armed Forces, and in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, along with joint support from Mercy Corps, these aircraft delivered crucial medical supplies and consumables. This effort reflects Jordan's commitment to bolstering the healthcare sector in Gaza, with the aid intended for entry through the Rafah crossing in Egypt.
Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, Secretary General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization, emphasized the worsening health conditions in Gaza, attributable to the ongoing crisis. He underscored the organization's dedication to augmenting medical provisions to enable service agencies to deliver essential healthcare to our Gazan brothers and sisters.
The tally of planes dispatched from Jordan to Gaza now stands at 53, laden with medical, food, and relief provisions.
The Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization continues to accept monetary contributions via its Union Bank account (No. JO32 UBSI 1030 0000 4010 1659 9151 06), electronic wallets, or through the CliQ JHCOGAZA platform, in addition to eFAWATEERCOM and via its website.
