Police dogs released in Nasser Hospital by “Israeli” army
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) released police dogs inside Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis city, south of the Gaza Strip, on Thursday.
The IOF stormed the southern square of the complex and carried out excavation operations there. They also arrested several young men and doctors as they attempted to leave the complex early Thursday morning.
The IOF continues to besiege doctors, patients, and patients inside the Nasser Hospital for the 25th consecutive day. Its snipers target those present in the hospital or its courtyards, preventing medical teams from moving between its buildings. This situation persists despite the presence of 300 medical staff, 450 patients and wounded individuals, and more than 10,000 displaced persons.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health appealed to the United Nations General Assembly and international human rights organizations, stating that what the occupation is doing in Nasser Medical Complex repeats the horrific crimes that occurred in hospitals in the Gaza Strip. Among these was the incident at Shifa Medical Complex, where evacuees were forced to leave the hospital and were targeted with gunfire and arrested upon exiting.
