The Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army announced a joint airdrop of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip with the Dutch Air Force - according to a statement by the JAF.

The statement reads as follows:

The Jordanian Armed Forces and the Dutch Armed Forces carried out joint airborne operations on Monday evening. The airdrops were conducted through C130 aircraft in the vicinity of the Jordanian Field Hospital in Gaza/77 North Gaza.

The aid packages include relief, humanitarian, and medical supplies, delivered through specially equipped boxes with GPS-guided parachutes to ensure they reach the designated locations within the necessary timelines.

This operation is part of Jordan's support efforts to assist the people in Gaza during the ongoing war. It emphasizes the close bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and expresses solidarity and mutual support between the Jordanian and Dutch people for the Palestinian people.

The Armed Forces reaffirm their commitment to providing all forms of support and assistance to the people in Gaza, alleviating their challenging humanitarian conditions, and supporting their resilience in the face of difficult circumstances. They continue to enhance the capabilities of hospitals by providing medical and treatment services to patients, the wounded, and those affected by the ongoing conflict in the region.
