The traffic report issued by the Public Security Directorate on Monday reported a collision between two vehicles early Monday morning at the Al Ghadeer Al Abyad area on the road from Mafraq to Irbid.

Four people were injured, their condition described as moderate, as a result of the accident, according to the Highway Patrol Department spokesperson. 

He added that the injured were transported to the Al-Mafraq Government Hospital for necessary treatment, and the traffic impact on the street was cleared.

The department also responded to a vehicle turnover on the road between Zarqa and Jerash, and the injured individual was taken to the Zarqa Government Hospital.

- Preventative measures - 

The traffic report emphasized the prohibition of using distractions such as mobile phones while driving, in addition to adhering to lanes, avoiding overtaking, and maintaining a safe following distance.

The report affirmed that failure to follow traffic safety rules, sudden lane changes, and exceeding the speed limit lead to loss of control over the vehicle and the occurrence of hazardous accidents.

The report urged all drivers to seek assistance to call the emergency number 911 if assistance is needed.
