The Highway Patrol Department in the Public Security Directorate stated that they dealt with a number of traffic accidents on the roads during the past 24 hours.

They indicated that at 9:00 am yesterday, Wednesday, a collision occurred between two vehicles on the Naour - Al-Adassiyeh road, towards the Dead Sea, resulting in two moderate injuries, both of whom were transported to the hospital.

The patrols noted that civil defense teams dealt with an incident involving the overturning of an empty gas tanker at the end of the An-Naqab, specifically in the area of Dabet Hanut. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

In the afternoon, they also handled a vehicle fire in the Mafraq area. The civil defense teams managed to extinguish the fire without any reported injuries.

In the same context, specialized teams responded to a collision between two vehicles on the southern Shuna road - Al-Karamah after the Al-Arda triangle. The incident resulted in four injuries, described as mild to moderate, according to the Highway Patrol Department.

- Road conditions - 

As for the visibility conditions on the roads due to the recent low-pressure system and rainfall in the Kingdom, the Highway Patrol Department stated that visibility on various roads is normal, except for the Jaber International Road in the Sahl ad Dabbah area, where visibility ranged between 150 to 200 meters.

Also, on the Airport Road, visibility ranged between 150 to 200 meters, and on the Azraq Road, the Tal Hassan area, where visibility ranged between 50 to 100 meters.

They urged drivers to exercise caution, stay focused on the road, be aware of the danger of reduced visibility, use lower gears to slow down instead of brakes, and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles.
