The United States Central Command stated in a Saturday release that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), Quds Force, continues to pose a threat to the stability of Iraq.

General Michael Erik Kurilla emphasized security in a statement on X platform, stating, "We will continue to take action, do whatever is necessary to protect our people, and hold those responsible who threaten their safety."

The US Central Command confirmed conducting airstrikes in Syria and Iraq against the Iranian Quds Force and its affiliated militias.

In a statement released on Friday night/Saturday, the US Central Command stated that the strikes targeted over 85 objectives, utilizing various aircraft, including long-range bombers from the United States.

The airstrikes employed more than 125 smart bombs, targeting sites related to command and control operations, intelligence centers, missiles, drone warehouses, and logistics facilities for militia groups and Iranian Revolutionary Guard units that facilitated attacks against US forces and the coalition.
