“Israel” proposes installing technological devices to secure border with Egypt

The Israeli Occupation has reportedly proposed a plan regarding the Philadelphi Corridor located in Palestinian territories between the Sinai Peninsula and the Gaza Strip. The proposal involves deploying technological devices on the “Israeli” side of the corridor - per Yedioth Ahronoth.

It is alleged that the proposal aims to monitor any movements or attempts to approach the corridor in an effort to cross into Sinai or smuggle weapons and military equipment into Gaza through underground tunnels.

The Philadelphi Corridor runs along the Egyptian border with the Gaza Strip, extending from the Mediterranean Sea in the north to the Kerem Shalom Border Crossing in the south, where the borders of Egypt, Gaza, and the Israeli Occupation converge.
