Jordan’s dams’ storage rises to 111 million cubic meters

27-01-2024 13:55|The total storage in Jordan's main dams has risen to 111 million cubic meters, to 38.5 percent of their total capacity which stands at 288,128 million cubic meters, according to the Ministry Of Water And Irrigation - Jordan Valley Authority.
The ministry stated on Saturday that the daily rate increased by 10% from the long-term annual average of approximately 8.1 billion cubic meters per year, and that the long-term annual rate of rainfall has risen to 54% as of Saturday morning.
It added that the highest precipitation was recorded in Ajloun within a 24-hour period, reaching 74.2 millimeters.
