The Arab Parliament announced on Sunday the awarding of the International Medal to the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa.

This medal is the highest honor presented to leaders and international figures who support the causes of the Arab nation.

Parliament Speaker Adel Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi said that this is to express gratitude and appreciation for South Africa's stances, especially regarding filing a lawsuit against the Israeli Occupation in the International Court of Justice.

He expressed his appreciation for the stances of free nations that stood for the principles of truth, justice, and humanity, refusing to succumb to pressure in defense of these values.
