Houthis target US-owned ship in Gulf of Aden
The military spokesperson for Yemen’s Houthis, announced targeting a United States ship MV Chem Ranger in the Gulf of Aden with two anti-ship ballistic missiles.
The ship flies the flag of the Marshall Islands, is greek-operated, and US-owned.
No damage or injuries were reported as a result of the attack. “The crew observed the missiles impact the water near the ship,” a statement by the United States Central Command (CENTCOM).
Saree reiterated the safety of maritime navigation in the Arabian and Red Seas to all destinations worldwide, except for the ports of occupied Palestine.
Saree pointed out that the restriction on "Israeli" navigation or vessels heading to the ports of occupied Palestine will persist until the cessation of aggression and the lifting of the blockade on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
