Loud explosion heard in Haifa Bay oil refinery

A loud explosion was heard in Haifa Bay, the Occupied territories coming from the direction of the oil refineries in the area. Witnesses saw a mushroom cloud rising from the area.

The Israeli Occupation police clarified that it was not a security incident, and the refinery stated that that the explosion was due to a sudden increase in pressure which caused a “disk” to break, which made a noise similar to an explosion.

The statement that there was no danger to any of the workers or the public.
