The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that two Navy personnel went missing during operations off the coast of Somalia.

The statement added that search and rescue operations are ongoing to locate the missing individuals near Somalia.

The sailors were deployed in the area of operations of the US Fifth Fleet (C5F) to support a series of missions.
