Iranian state media, cited by AFP, has reported that the Iranian Navy (NEDAJA) has seized, with a court order, an oil tanker near Oman. 

The tanker was boarded by “armed individuals” who changed the vessel’s course towards Iran, according to UK maritime sources cited by Reuters.

The vessel, which flies the flag of the Marshall Islands, was attacked when it was sailing close to the city of Sohar, Oman, according to “Ambrey,” after which its tracking systems were turned off as it headed to Bandar-e-Jask - an Iranian port.
