The University of Jordan (JU) has decided to revamp the student attendance and absence system, introducing a QR Code and air-conditioning all classrooms at the university.

The university will also undertake the maintenance of all health facilities at (JU), and allocate prayer rooms for males and females in the scientific halls complex.

A source informed Roya that cameras will be installed in the classrooms to record lectures, and 7,000 seats will be upgraded and installed in the lecture halls.

It was also mentioned that the majority paperwork at JU will be able to be completed electronically.

The date for implementing these decisions has not been revealed yet.
