The Acting President of the University of Jordan, Salama Al-Nuaimat, decided to suspend the official working hours for students and members of the teaching and administrative staff starting Wednesday at 3pm.

The decision came due to the harsh weather conditions prevailing across Jordan.

However, Nuaimat said “The decision excludes those whose work nature requires otherwise.”

He also indicated that exams which are scheduled to be held at 3pm Wednesday, have been postponed to a date that will be announced later.
