In the wake of the terrorist attack, the official spokesperson for the National Security Committee of the Iranian Parliament announced plans to send a team to Kerman for a thorough field investigation. Reports from Iranian sources strongly indicate that the attack, occurring during the fourth anniversary of the death of Qasem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force, was a deliberate act of terrorism.
Two bags of bombs were discovered at the entrance to Gulzar Martyrs of Kerman, according to the Iranian Tasnim Agency. It is suspected that the perpetrators triggered the bombs remotely, causing explosions at locations strategically related to Soleimani's grave but outside the path of visitors and inspection gates.
Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi declared the inevitability of revenge against those responsible for the terrorist attack in Kerman, emphasizing its inevitability and definitiveness. In response to the tragedy, the Iranian government declared a day of general mourning throughout the country on Thursday.
As the international community joins in condemning this heinous act, Jordan reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating with Iran and the global community in the fight against terrorism. The Ministry called for unity and collective efforts to counter such acts that threaten peace and stability in the region.
