Foreign Ministry “closely monitoring” death of Jordanian student in Germany
Sufian Al-Qudah, the Director of Operations and Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, stated that the ministry is closely monitoring the incident of the death of a Jordanian citizen in the city of Hamburg, Germany.
Ambassador Al-Qudah explained that the Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs, along with the Jordanian Embassy in Berlin, is coordinating with the German authorities to investigate this unfortunate incident. The investigations are ongoing, and the full details have not been concluded yet.
He added that the Jordanian Embassy in Berlin has initiated the necessary official procedures related to repatriating the deceased's body to Jordan, in coordination with his family.
Al-Qudah confirmed that there are no Jordanian victims reported in the armed attack that took place at a university in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, on Thursday, resulting in the death of 14 and the injury of 25 others.
