Rocket alarm sirens sound in Tel Aviv

Rocket sirens were activated in Tel Aviv, the Occupied territories, accompanied by sounds of explosions.

Al-Qassam Brigades, on its official Telegram channel, announced the targeting of Tel Aviv with rocket salvos in response to the Israeli Occupation's massacres against civilians. 

Hebrew media reported that more than 20 rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip, targeting Gush Dan, the metropolitan area of Tel Aviv, in two successive volleys.

Israeli occupation police and explosive experts rushed to the areas of Ashdod and Ashkelon following reports of missile impacts.

Daily Hebrew Newspaper "Maariv" that Al-Qassam's rocket salvos coincided with the presence of the President and members of the French Senate in Tel Aviv; the meeting with opposition leader Yair Lapid was subsequently halted due to the sirens.
