Israeli Occupation military confirms death of four soldiers in ongoing Gaza battle
Monday morning, the Israeli Occupation military confirmed the death of four additional soldiers in the ongoing ground battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
In a statement released under the permission to publish clause, the military identified the deceased as Major Urijah Bayer, 20 years old, from Ma'alot-Tarshiha, a fighter in the Magellan Unit, Commando Brigade; Major Liaf Alloush, 21 years old, from Jadara, a fighter in the Duvdevan unit, Commando Brigade; Major (res.) Eitan Naeh, 26 years old, from Kibbutz Sde Eliyahu, a fighter in the Dovdan unit, the commando battalion; and Major (defendant) Tal Flipa, 23 years old, from Rehovot, a fighter in the Yalam unit, Combat Engineer Corps.
The military also reported that a fighter from the Duvdevan unit, Commando Brigade, was seriously injured. This brings the total number of casualties in the Israeli Occupation military to 127 since the beginning of the ground operation and 458 since the start of Operation Aqsa Typhoon on October 7.
The Israeli Occupation continues its aggression against Gaza for the 73rd consecutive day, targeting civilians, hospitals, and destroying numerous homes, while the Palestinian resistance engages in fierce battles in the areas where the incursion into the Strip is taking place.
As part of Operation Aqsa Typhoon, launched by the Al-Qassam Brigades on October 7 in response to Israeli Occupation violations, the military operation "Iron Sword" has intensified, conducting violent raids in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the number of martyrs has reached approximately 19,000, including 7,739 children and 4,885 women, with over 51,000 injured. The Israeli Occupation claims about 1,200 settlers and soldiers killed, while acknowledging the death of 458 officers and soldiers since October 7.
