Al-Jazeera cameraman Samer Abu Daka has been martyred after being wounded by an Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) airstrike in Khan Yunis.

Abu Daka was critically injured and left bleeding with no medical treatment for over five hours despite calls and to please to evacuate him from the area.

Samir Abu Daqqa and journalist Wael al-Dahdouh were injured while covering Israeli Occupation airstrikes targeting Farhana school in Khan Yunis.

The ambulance couldn't reach Samir for more than 5 hours before announcing his martyrdom.

Wael al-Dahdouh was transferred to Nasser Medical Hospital for treatment, with no details provided about his health status so far.

Al-Jazeera channel condemned the Israeli Occupation attack that injured Wael al-Dahdouh and led to the martyrdom of cameraman Samir Abu Daqqa.

It emphasized that this new crime is part of a systematic targeting of network reporters and their families in Gaza, calling for holding the Israeli Occupation authorities accountable for these crimes in the Gaza Strip.

On October 25, several members of journalist Wael al-Dahdouh's family, including his wife, son, and daughter, were martyred in an Israeli airstrike targeting their home. His daughter “Batool” survived the attack.
