“Israeli army” arrests more Palestinians, strips them from clothes in north Gaza
Hebrew media outlets released footage showing the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arresting dozens of Palestinian civilians in front of a school in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.
No details were disclosed regarding the arrest operation, but the new footage reveals Israeli forces stripping Palestinians of their clothes in the cold weather.
A few days ago, images from Gaza circulated on social media depicting mass arrests by the IOF, where men were forced to undress except for their underwear, blindfolded, and transported in military vehicles, sparking widespread anger.
One of the released Palestinian detainees from northern Gaza disclosed the details of the IOF’s treatment during their detention.
He stated that they were arrested Thursday and released Friday morning, describing how the IOF stripped them of their clothes during the arrest in northern Gaza. Afterward, they were transported in trucks to the seashore after their eyes were covered.
He emphasized that the IOF exposed them to the cold weather without clothes, remaining blindfolded until midnight. Following that, they were ordered to return to their homes, while the IOF detained some others.
He further revealed that the detainees walked back home barefoot, only to discover that most of the houses they had left were burned and looted.
