Gaza death toll rises to 17,700

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip published the latest toll of martyrs on the sixty-fourth day of the Israeli Occupation's aggression against the Gaza Strip.

Dr. Ashraf al-Qidra, the Ministry's spokesperson, stated that the number of martyrs has reached 17,700, with 48,780 injured since October 7.

Al-Qidra added that the Israeli occupation's crimes and genocidal acts against the population of Gaza have surpassed description and the limits of reason, aiming to eradicate the Palestinian existence with American and European support that contradicts humanity.

He pointed out that, in the past hours, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) committed 20 horrifying massacres, annihilating entire families. Dozens of pleas have been received from Palestinians in residential neighborhoods and schools, including Khalifa School in northern Gaza, where the occupation committed a heinous massacre, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded who are bleeding to death. The displaced people there are in a disastrous situation without water, food, or medical treatment.

Al-Qidra highlighted that the occupation targeted an ambulance during its evacuation of the wounded in the area of the European Gaza Hospital, leading to the injury of paramedics and damage to the ambulance. This raises the total number of targeted ambulances to 57.
