King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF), checked on the personnel of the Jordanian Field Hospital Gaza/76 and on those injured due to Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) airstrikes around the hospital.

During a phone call with the hospital's commander, Colonel Thaer Al-Khatib Sunday, His Majesty conveyed his greetings to the wounded heroes and wished them a speedy recovery.

His Majesty stated, "We are with you, and all Jordanians are proud of you, the brave Jordanian Armed Forces. May God protect you and grant you health and well-being. Greetings to the brave soldiers, high morale, God willing."

His Majesty emphasized that the attack on medical personnel at the hospital is a heinous crime, noting that appropriate measures will be taken to address this assault.

The King reiterated his support for the tremendous efforts of the hospital's staff in serving and treating the people of Gaza who are victims of the Israeli Occupation's aggression.

He emphasized that these efforts are part of Jordan's continued solidarity with the Palestinian brothers.

In turn, the hospital's commander stated that all members of the hospital staff are well, morale is high and the injured are receiving the necessary treatment.

He affirmed the readiness to continue providing medical services to the people in Gaza.

Notably, seven members of the Jordanian Field Hospital in Gaza were injured last Wednesday during IOF airstrikes around the hospital while attempting to assist Palestinian citizens injured in IOF shelling and transporting them to the emergency department.

The hospital was established in 2009 by the directive of King Abdullah II, with a staff of 182 members from the Royal Medical Services and supporting teams.
