Ministry of Foreign Affairs reposts tweet: 'Hamas cannot be compared to Daesh'
Rym Momtaz, a consulting researcher specializing in European foreign and security policy, took to the X platform to express her views on Israeli Occupation's actions in Gaza. In a tweet, Momtaz accused Israeli Occupation of taking 2.2 million hostages in Gaza and called for their release.

Cannot compare Hamas to ISIS, ignores fact that Hamas didnt create the conflict, the conflict created Hamas...negos have not produced peace
Momtaz emphasized the need for the release of the captives but staunchly opposed any attempts to link humanitarian efforts to political conditions.
She asserted that Hamas should not be equated with Daesh and pointed out that the war did not originate from Hamas but rather Hamas was create by the war.
Momtaz further argued that despite negotiations, a lasting peace has yet to materialize.
Following Momtaz's tweet, Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates reposted her tweet, indicating the government's alignment with her sentiments.
The move highlights a consistent Jordanian position regarding the situation in Palestine and emphasizes the call for humanitarian action independent of political considerations.
