Palestinian Health Minister Mai Alkaila affirmed that the Israeli Occupation and the international community bear responsibility for the lives of patients, medical staff and displaced individuals in Al-Shifa Medical Complex.

She warned of a potential massacre within the complex.

Kaila pointed out that the timid response and complete silence of some countries encouraged the Israeli Occupation to invade the medical complex, constituting a blatant violation of international law.

She stated that the occupation's incursion into Al-Shifa Medical Complex is a "crime against humanity."

The invasion is part of a series of crimes committed against the complex, including a strict siege imposed on it for several days, during which more than five buildings inside were shelled.

Gunfire and shells were launched at the wounded, displaced individuals and medical staff present.

Kaila continued by stating that the fate of thousands of patients, displaced individuals, and medical personnel is currently unknown.

She emphasized that this new Israeli Occupation's crime comes after the Israeli Occupation army committed massacres against hospitals, medical teams and ambulances, resulting in more than 700 martyrs and casualties.
