Shaun King: A formidable voice for Palestine and social justice

Shaun King, a prominent New York-based advocate, journalist, and social media influencer, is recognized as one of the most followed and shared personalities globally. TIME Magazine included him in the list of the 25 most influential individuals on the internet.

King's massive online presence boasts over 5.2 million followers on Instagram and a combined following of over 10 million across various social media platforms.

King has been a vocal advocate for Gaza, utilizing social media to raise awareness, gather support, and provide financial assistance during the ongoing aggression by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF). His efforts have generated hundreds of millions of impressions, significantly impacting public opinion in support of Gaza.

King, who identifies as biracial, has devoted his career to being on the front lines of social justice issues, mainly the Black Lives Matter movement. In his book 'Make Change', he lays out a blueprint to dismantle systematic oppression and to take part in the fight against social injustice in addition to revealing and reflecting on key events that shaped and transformed his life.

Shaun has followed the path of activism since an early age. He became the youngest Student Government President elected at Morehouse College since Martin Luther King was a student there in 1947. He was also a traveling teacher and counselor working for years in jails, prisons, and youth detention centers in Georgia, US.

King has raised millions of dollars over the years launching campaigns supporting various social justice issues. He was also a pastor, starting his own church in 2008 in the state of Atlanta.

"I know...One day Palestine and Palestinians will be free...I feel it in my bones," he stated in his latest Instagram post, "Injustice is never permanent, it always ends."
